We look forward to welcoming you to Crans-Montana in February 2027, where the world’s best alpine skiers will compete for the titles at the World Championships.

This page provides all essential information for media representatives. The accreditation application form will be open from 15 October to 15 December. Late applications and any changes submitted after the application deadline cannot be guaranteed and will be considered subject to available capacity.

The first information regarding accreditation, accommodation, media centres, workspaces and parking facilities is available in the presentation below. A detailed Media Guide will be published in due course.

With 160 days to go until the opening ceremony, the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Crans-Montana 2027 are entering the final phase of the project. After several years of preparation, the concepts have now been finalised and the implementation phase is fully underway. Over the coming months, the infrastructure will take shape, the final construction work will be completed and all teams will come together to welcome, from 1 to 14 February 2027, the biggest sporting event ever held in Crans-Montana since the 1987 World Championships.

Seven months ahead of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Crans-Montana 2027, the Organising Committee is lifting the curtain on one of the many highlights of its Festival programme. Named "The Music Hall", this new venue will complement the daytime sporting experience with high-quality performances in an intimate and comfortable indoor setting.

15.06.2026 - Rivella Partnership

The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Crans-Montana 2027 will benefit from the invaluable support of Rivella. The iconic Swiss brand will become a National Partner of the event, further strengthening its presence in alpine skiing through its involvement in this flagship sporting event in 2027.

16.03.2026 - Volunteers' recruitment

Crans-Montana will host the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships from 1 to 14 February 2027. For this major event, nearly 1,500 volunteers will be mobilized to contribute to its success. Registration is now open and marks the launch of Team27, the volunteer community of the World Championships.

08.01.2025 - The build-up is underway

Just a few weeks ahead of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Crans-Montana 2025, preparations for the event are in full swing. Thanks to meticulous preparation, the course now features a solid and consistent snow base. The teams are currently focusing on fine-tuning the surface and installing safety systems, including the setup of A nets. Everything is being put in place to deliver an optimal experience for the World Cup on 22–23 February 2025, as well as for the European Cup on 12–13 February 2025.

The Crans-Montana 2027 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships organisers are pleased to officially announce the dates of the competitions, which will be held between 1st and 14th February 2027, meaning that the symbolic 1,000 day threshold to the opening ceremony of this prestigious event is crossed today.

25.11.2023 - Crans-Montana 2027: the countdown is on

In 1,164 days, Crans-Montana will host the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships for the second time in its history. The Crans-Montana 2027 Association has been meticulously preparing for this event since its inception. This Saturday, November 25, the first tangible elements were unveiled, notably the new visual identity for these World Championships, which was unveiled at a public ceremony in Crans-Montana.
