Crans-Montana 2027 unveils the outline of its ambitious festival and the first names of its artistic programme

Hello

Seven months ahead of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Crans-Montana 2027, the Organising Committee is lifting the curtain on one of the many highlights of its Festival programme.

Named "The Music Hall", this new venue will complement the daytime sporting experience with high-quality performances in an intimate and comfortable indoor setting.

Among the first artists announced are international icon Barbara Hendricks, comedian and entertainer Anthony Kavanagh, the Brass Band Valaisia, and the Chœur des Collèges du Valais romand. These performers will take part in a series of concerts hosted in Le Régent Congress Centre. The programme will culminate in a festive evening dedicated to the biggest stars of Schlager music on Saturday, 13 February 2027.

Beyond this indoor programme, the World Championships will also feature a wide range of free public concerts, with the first artists to be announced this autumn. These events will bring together renowned Swiss and international performers on the main stage at Ycoor.

The heart of Montana will beat strongly from the very first day of the Championships with a spectacular Opening Ceremony at Ycoor. This true audiovisual show, free of charge for spectators, is expected to welcome more than 6,000 visitors on 1 February 2027. In addition, every competition evening at 18:30, medal ceremonies will enliven the Fan zone Ycoor, the central hub of all public festivities. On certain days, these ceremonies will be followed by bib draw ceremonies, scheduled for Wednesdays and Thursdays at 18:45.

The experience will continue with secondary stages, an après-ski area, exhibitions, conferences, and a wide range of activities for children and families, further enriching the sporting and cultural programme.

"Our ambition is to create a true people's festival where sport, music and culture come together to deliver an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages and backgrounds, regardless of which day they choose to attend during this extraordinary fortnight" concludes Raphaël Nanchen, Head of Festival Crans-Montana 2027.
