Crans-Montana will host the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships from 1 to 14 February 2027. For this major event, nearly 1,500 volunteers will be mobilized to contribute to its success. Registration is now open and marks the launch of Team27, the volunteer community of the World Championships.
Volunteers will play a key role in the organization. Over a period of nearly four weeks, they will help ensure the smooth running of the competitions as well as the many activities taking place across the resort throughout the event.

With Team27, we want to bring together an enthusiastic and committed community that will help make these World Championships an unforgettable experience for both athletes and spectators,” says Didier Défago, CEO of the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships Crans-Montana 2027.
To boost the recruitment of the 1,500 profiles needed, Crans-Montana 2027 is partnering with the Valais-based start-up HooRa, which helps organisations attract, engage and recruit the right talent.
Admission Criteria
During the selection process, special attention will be given to the following criteria:
- Availability during the two competition weeks (1–14 February 2027)
- Ideally, previous experience as a volunteer
- Having accommodation in the region
- Fluency in French or English
How to become a volunteer
To increase their chances of being selected, interested candidates are encouraged to:
- Register before 30 April 2026
- Select multiple roles when registering
- Indicate as much availability as possible
- Complete the registration form carefully, highlighting relevant experiences and skills
