The FIS flag has been officially handed over to Crans-Montana 2027 at the closing ceremony of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Saalbach 2025.
Sunday, 16 February, 2025 marked the final day of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Saalbach 2025. Moments after the triumph of Loïc Meillard from Valais and his slalom world champion title, the closing ceremony of the two-week competition took place in the Austrian finish area.
The FIS flag was officially handed over to Crans-Montana 2027 as host of the next FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in two years.
The Crans-Montana 2027 Organizing Committee would like to congratulate the organizers of Saalbach 2025 for all their hard work over the last few years and for two weeks of exciting and successful competition.
