Join us in Sion this Saturday at the Valais Sport Festival

The Valais Sports Week has established itself as a must-attend event for sports enthusiasts in Valais. Over several days, the canton comes alive with a wide range of events, inspiring conferences led by top-level experts and the Valais Sport Festival, an ideal opportunity for the whole family to discover a wide variety of disciplines. A key moment of the week, the Valais Sports Awards honour athletes, clubs and personalities who have marked the year. This 5th edition focuses on snow sports, highlighting their central role in the identity and future of the canton. It also shines a spotlight on the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Crans-Montana 2027 and the Switzerland 2038 Olympic bid project.

The Valais Sport Festival is a day dedicated to discovering and practising sport, open to everyone. Held in Sion, it offers the chance to try more than 20 disciplines through introductory sessions and demonstrations led by clubs and associations, in a friendly and accessible atmosphere for all ages. The festival will take place on Saturday 2 May 2026, from 09:30 to 17:30, at Place du Scex in Sion, a dynamic and interactive day, perfect for getting active, discovering new sports and sharing a great moment.

Crans-Montana 2027 will also be present at the festival with a dedicated stand. Throughout the day, visitors of all ages will be able to take part in games, try their luck in a big contest and discover the world of the 2027 World Championships. Tsapé, our mascot, will also be there to meet visitors.
